The cabins and cottage are enrolled in the Virginia Green program.

Please recycle aluminum cans, plastics and glass. There is a set of recycle containers for each set of cabins.

Also at the Outfitters, there is can recycling by the dumpsters.

Our staff is using ‘green’ cleaning products whenever possible. Our paper products are from recycled papers. At the Outfitters, we also recycle cardboard.

The Outfitters sponsors ‘river clean up’ days during the week and a special Sunday in September. This was started back in the early 70’s. Tons of flood debris, tires, parts of houses, cars, etc. have been removed over the years. Operation Clean Water.
