Three Larger Log Cabins by the River!
The Angler, the Drifter and the Paddler WINTER Special--3rd night FREE* These are larger size cabins than our first River Cabins, with a double bed bedroom with a 'propane fireplace', a mini-kitchen with microwave, shower stall bathroom; a living room with a double futon; and a loft area with a double bed. The cabins are set up to sleep 6. The cabins have heat and AC. Outside is a picnic table and grill. The cabins are 'pet friendly' and 'smoke-free'. No camping at cabins allowed. There is an outdoor 5-person hot tub in a Gazebo for the Angler cabin and hot tubs on the decks of Drifter and Paddler cabins. The Angler, Drifter and Paddler cabins are located on 7 acres with a large wooded area on the River Bank for picnicking, volleyball, sun bathing and relaxing. Or you might be fishing, swimming, tubing or canoeing right from the banks. Here are photos of The Hook, Line and Sinker cabins. They were built in the '05 Spring. These cabins are on 3.3 acres on the River and closer to Luray (5.5 miles). Do call in for reservations as these are fast booking for the year. | Here's a view of the mini-kitchen (which has the dishes, pots, etc for 6; a coffee maker, microwave, 2-burner stove top and refrigerator but no oven) and the entrance to the bedroom. The shower bathroom is to the right of the kitchen. The stairs are to the loft area. The living area has the futon and dining table and Direct TV. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill for each cabin. |

| This is the view from the Drifter's hot tub--Looking south west to the Massanutten Mountain, across the neighboring fields. When the leaves fall, you get a view of the river in the distance. (The Paddler has the same style hot tub and great view.)

| At Shenandoah River Outfitters, you can rent canoes, kayaks, rafts and intertubes to enjoy on the river. You can go on a river trip (from one boat landing to another) or just hang out on the River by the cabin. Visit other pages on this site for more information. These cabins are located about 17 miles from Luray VA and about 7 miles from Shenandoah River Outfitters. The setting is one of woods, fields, mountain views and on the banks of the Shenandoah River for great fly fishing, bass fishing and just playing in the river. Just up the gravel road is access to George Washington National Forest for hiking, bird watching and animal watching. Back in Luray (17 miles) are grocery stores, antique shops, Luray Caverns and places to dine. Shenandoah National Park entrance is another 5 miles with all of it's hiking trails and amenities. Horseback riding can be found in Fort Valley(16 miles), and Shenandoah National Park(30 miles). The Luray area offers golfing, mini-golfing, airplane rides, biking-mountain and road, and much more.
